Iran warns Yemenis from Gulf-States' conspiracies

February 21, 2015 at 2:10 pm

Iranian Friday Khatib Ayatollah Mohamed Karamani warned Yemenis to beware of United States and the Council of the Gulf States, saying, “Be cautious of any attacks against your resistance.”

According to Anadolu news agency, which reported the news, Karamani was proud of the Houthi Yemenis and said “they achieved a resounding victory” against their enemies.

Friday Khatibs in Iran are entitled to speak on behalf of the Supreme Guide of the Iranian Revolution Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Meanwhile, Karamani commented on Iran’s nuclear situation, saying: “The nuclear situation of the country is very different compared to what it was ten years ago … We accepted to suspend enrichment, but we were confident that there was no hope in Europe. This was approved by experience.”

Karamani said that Iran depends on its own resources. “We have much energy and resources; however, America suffers big economic crises and budget deficit.” Karamani added, “America also had many differences with Europe.”

He reiterated that dependence upon the country’s resources does not contradict diplomacy as there have been negotiations with the P5+1 group over the nuclear issue.

About ISIS, Karamani said that Abu-Baker al-Baghdadi had appointed emirs for Makkah and Al-Madinah – a “danger alarm” for Saudi Arabia, he stated, while calling for the country to take a stand against ISIS.
