Gaza man gets 15 years for being an 'Israeli spy'

‘A military court in the Gaza Strip sentenced a Palestinian man to 15 years in prison on charges of collaborating with Israel, a Palestinian judicial source said yesterday.

The source, who referred to the defendant only by his initials A.M., said: “The 53-year-old man who works as an assistant pharmacist has been collaborating with Israel since 1988 during the First Intifada and was arrested about a year ago.”

According to the source, the man has provided Israeli intelligence services with information about the names and whereabouts of resistance fighters.
