Israeli military train along Gaza border

The Israeli army yesterday carried out military exercise in the area of Sderot and in some of the settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip.

Hebrew public radio said that an active movement of the security forces and the Israeli army will be noticed between one o’clock in the afternoon and the evening hours.

It quoted Israeli army spokesman as saying that “this exercise was planned in advance as part of the annual training plan.”

This comes in light of the escalating tensions witnessed along the Gaza border.

Last night Israeli warplanes launched a series of raids against Al-Qassam Brigades targets.
