Sudan: 'ICC will not do Palestine justice'

July 2, 2015 at 8:51 am

Sudan is not optimistic that the International Criminal Court would do justice for the Palestinian people regarding the crimes committed by Israel, the country’s permanent representative to the Arab League said.

In exclusive statements to Al-Quds newspaper, Salah Abdel Mahmoud Abdel Halim said the United States criticised Palestine for going to the International Criminal Court, adding that the ICC is politicised and does not value justice.

He explained that the United States is now calling for not involving the International Criminal Court in the Palestinian issue, which shows the double standards.

Abdel Halim continued: “When it comes to Sudan, the International Criminal Court moves against it, but when the issue is about the massacres committed by the racist Israeli regime in Palestine, the court will do nothing.”
