BEIRUT, LEBANON: ‘Al-Aqsa is my Responsibility’ exhibition was held for the first time in Beirut. The programme included an auction of Palestinian artifacts and showcased sculptures and traditional dishes.

AMMAN, JORDAN: Souk Jara provides locals a chance to display and sell their handicrafts, including sculptures, paintings, antiques and food.The market has been held on Fridays in the old quarter in Jebel Amman since 2004 and focuses on the local folklore.

RIZE, TURKEY: Construction of the Al-Qibla Mountain Mosque, built on the top of the 1,130-meter mountain in the Black Sea’s Rize province in Turkey, has been completed. The mosque, which carries the name Al-Qibla similar to that of the peak it sits on, is set amoungst trees and natural beauty. The mountain can be seen from the surrounding areas when people face Makkah, the direction Muslims face for prayer, giving it the name Al-Qibla (the direction).
