Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif yesterday met the Secretary-General of the Palestinian movement Islamic Jihad Ramadan Shallah and his deputy Ziad Al-Nakhaleh in Damascus, Iranian channel Al-Alam reported.
No details were given for the reason behind the meeting or what its outcomes were.
According to the report, Zarif had also planned to meet Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan, Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, as well as Head of the Hamas Political Bureau Khalid Meshaal in Ankara, Turkey, yesterday.
