Egypt’s Sixth of April Movement has called for a blogging campaign to mark the International Day of the Victims of Forced Disappearance, which will be held on Sunday, 30 August, Rassd.com reported on Friday.

“The campaign is based on the declaration about protecting all individuals from forced disappearance, which was ratified by the UN General Assembly on 18 December, 1992, as such disappearances are criminal,” the movement declared on its Facebook page. “If you know someone who has been ‘disappeared’, take part in the blogging campaign and publish their story.”

The campaign will include the hashtags #enforced_disappearance and #Stop_enforced_disappearance.
