One day after the death of the mother of the Palestinian baby burnt to death by Israeli settlers in Nablus three weeks ago, said that

The Palestinian Authority (PA) is not interested in prosecuting the Israeli occupation, Quds Press reported Palestinian Member of Parliament Mona Mansour saying yesterday.

After members of the Dawabsheh family were killed in an arson attack blamed on Israeli settlers, the PA announced it filed a complaint to the ICC calling for the prosecution of the settlers.

However, Mansour said: “The PA is not interested in prosecuting the Israeli occupation over its crimes,” noting that it restricted itself throughout the security deals which serve the occupation.

According to Quds Press, Mansour, who is a Hamas representative, accused the PA of falling short of protecting the Palestinians.

“If the PA is interested in prosecuting the Israeli occupation, it would stop the security cooperation, which is based on deterring the Palestinian resistance.”

Mansour reiterated that the Palestinian people are able to revive resistance and fight the Israeli occupation, calling for Palestinians to unite for their benefit and not the interest of the Israeli occupation.
