Hungarian camerawoman caught assaulting refugees

A Hungarian camerawoman has been caught on camera extending her leg in front of a Syrian refugee

A Hungarian camerawoman has been caught on camera extending her leg in front of a Syrian refugee who was fleeing a holding camp carrying a child in his arms, causing him to fall to the floor on top of the boy.

In later footage Petra Lazlo is again seen kicking refugees as they run, including a young girl in the leg.

The videographer, who worked for the Hungarian nationalist N1TV station, has been fired, Editor-in-Chief Szabolcs Kisberk said.

"The camera operator's behaviour was completely unacceptable," N1TV said in a statement. The channel is run by the anti-immigration far-right Jobbik party.

Details are now emerging of the man who Lazlo tripped up and caused to fall while he was carrying his young son.
