Israeli army arrests 11 Palestinians in the West Bank

The Israeli army has arrested 11 Palestinians in the West Bank on Monday evening, according to an official statement issued by the army.

In the statement, the army also noted that it’s arrested activists in the villages of Marca and Fahma, Jenin, and arrested five wanted persons in the villages of Beit Liqia, Al-Nabi Saleh and Silwad, Ramallah.

The statement added that the army has arrested another four in El-Khader village, Al-Fawar Camp and Hebron. The majority of detainees are Hamas members.

The Israeli army carries out night-time arrest campaigns in the West Bank.

More than 6,000 Palestinians are currently held in Israeli jails, many on Administrative detention, official Palestinian estimates have revealed.
