Meshaal meets Turkish PM in Ankara

Chief of Hamas Political Bureau Khalid Meshaal met with the Turkish Prime Minsiter Ahmet Davutoğlu on Saturday in Ankara and discussed issues related to Al-Aqsa Mosque, Quds Press reported.

According to Quds Press, Senior Hamas leader Izzat Al-Reshiq posted news about the meeting on Twitter.

Quds Press reported sources saying that the meeting discussed the latest developments in the Palestinian issue and concentrated on the dangers facing Al-Aqsa Mosque and Israeli attempts to partition it.

On Friday, Meshaal and a senior Hamas delegation attended the Turkish Justice and Development party’s conference where Davutoğlu won in the election for the party’s leadership for a second time.
