Turkey: 4 PKK members killed

Four PKK terrorists have been killed by security forces in Turkey’s eastern province of Bingol, the governorship said on Thursday.

The Bingol governorship said in a statement that the terrorists were killed in a search operation in the rural area which resulted in a clash pitting PKK terrorists against security forces late Wednesday.

Two policemen and a civilian were wounded during the clash.

Meanwhile, the Turkish military carried out an air operation against PKK weapon emplacements and shelters in Turkey’s southeastern province of Hakkari on Thursday, the General Staff said in a statement.

Earlier, Turkish Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu demanded that the PKK and Daesh be treated similarly by the international community.
