Al-Aqsa Brigades leader calls for halting security coordination with Israel

A commander in the Fatah aligned Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades has called for immediate action to stop the security coordination between the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli occupation.

Spokesman for the Nabil Masoud Unit of Al-Aqsa Brigades, Abu Ali said in remarks to Al-Resalah news website yesterday: “What is currently happening is the product of this security relationship.” He called on the Palestinian security services to join the Palestinian uprising and defend their own people in the occupied West Bank from settlers and the Israeli occupation forces.

Abu Ali said the Palestinian security services are required to protect their people and rebel against the security coordination, reminding them of former security services officials who refused the security coordination and chose to defend their people including Marwan Barghouti.

Abu Ali called on members of the security forces to confront leaders who order them to suppress the demonstrations in support of Al-Aqsa Mosque and protect them from repression and terrorism.

“The Palestinians will only reap the bitter fruit of security coordination with the Israeli occupation,” he said.

Abu Ali stressing that the Palestinian Authority and the Israeli occupation’s persecution of the Palestinian resistance have destroyed its infrastructure and confiscated its weapons.
