The nations have descended upon us

October 9, 2015 at 3:51 pm

Prophet Mohammad, peace be upon him, was right, as always, when he said, “The nations will call each other and set upon you, just as diners set upon food.” Today we are witnessing the nations setting upon us from every direction and the Russian invasion of our beloved Syria is proof of what the Prophet, peace be upon him, warned us against over 14 centuries ago.

I have said it repeatedly since the US invasion of Afghanistan and I say it again, this is a new-age Crusade. Even the American president George W. Bush himself said it was such after the twin towers were attacked in New York in 2001, although he did retract his statement, chalking it up to a slip of the tongue.

This is not important; what is important is that the truth of what he said has become clear as well as the hatred and malice he feels towards Islam ever since his invasion of Afghanistan, followed by his invasion of Iraq, its destruction and de facto division into three rivalling states. This is occurring in Baghdad, the capital of the Abbasid Caliphate which rubbed the nose of the Byzantine Empire in the dirt when Haroun Al-Rashid was the Caliph of the Muslims.

The destruction and damage occurring in Syria at the moment reminds me of the Crusade waged by Bush in 2001. Syria was the capital of the Umayyad Caliphate during which the Muslim land extended to the heart of Europe in the north and to India and Asia in the East. The Russians’ intervention in Syria at this time is sabotage. The Russians, Americans and Iranians have joined hands on one trigger to hit the same target: Islam. This is occurring at a critical time, as the Muslim world is weak, and all of the evil international forces and enemies of Islam are ganging up on the Muslim countries and killing helpless Muslims with, unfortunately, the collusion of some Muslim leaders.

What is new in this Crusade is the fact that the Muslims themselves are spearheading it. The American intelligence agencies fabricated an armed organisation that they allowed to take control of large parts of Iraq and Syria, and to commit massacres and heinous acts in order to portray Muslims as terrorists. They called this the “Islamic State” (Daesh in Arabic). They videoed and photographed the hangings and beheadings with the most technologically-advanced equipment and special effects rivalling those used in Hollywood in order so show them to the world and gain support for its crusader campaign against the Muslim countries. They called this the “war on terror”, for which they formed an international coalition to fight “terrorism”. It is disgraceful that this coalition includes Arab and Muslim countries.

The combat doctrine in many Arab and Muslim armies has now become “to fight terrorism”, rather than to fight Israel, the occupier and coloniser of Palestine and the holy city of Jerusalem. America has managed to re-direct our compass and now the weapons of the Arab and Muslim armies are directed at their own people under the pretext of the terrorism created by their own intelligence agencies with their own hands and under their supervision.

The Russian invasion of our beloved Syria is not unrelated to all of this, as it was not something that occurred on the spur of the moment, coincidentally or hastily for fear of Bashar Al-Assad’s criminal regime actually falling. Instead, this occurred with complete coordination and understanding between the Russians and the Americans; all that was left was assigning roles and times to enter and exit the stage.

This is a comprehensive Crusade, and to those who still have doubts, I say listen to the words of the Russian Patriarch and head of the Russian Orthodox Church as he blessed Putin’s actions and said that it is a “holy war”. This same holy war bombed Syrian neighbourhoods and launched missiles and explosives, killing helpless and innocent citizens, including children, women and the elderly; it has also destroyed homes and archaeological sites. Those who still have doubts about the dirty war being waged against the Muslim world are either ignorant or traitors, and nothing else; they may now have to choose which one they want to be.
