British Palestinians call for international intervention to stop Israeli crimes

The Palestinian Forum in Britain said on Friday that it is concerned about the crimes of the Zionists in the occupied Palestinian territories. At the same time, it hailed the Palestinian popular uprising in the face of the brutal occupier, Quds Press has reported.

The uprising proves that the Oslo Accords, signed between the PLO and Israel in 1993, and all their conditions, have failed to achieve their goals, said the forum in a statement. “Oslo was set out in order to make the Palestinians accept the Israeli occupation,” it added. “The uprising shows that the Palestinians are still seeking freedom, dignity and the liberation of their occupied lands.”

According to the Palestinian community in Britain, what is happening in Jerusalem proves that the Palestinians still regard Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa Mosque to be red lines. “They are ready to sacrifice everything to defend them, as well as to defend their national rights.”

Blaming the EU and Britain for condoning Israel’s “dangerous crimes”, the forum’s statement pointed out that Europe “encourages” Israel in its illegal actions in Jerusalem. The international community has to shoulder its responsibilities for the violations being carried out by the Israelis against the Palestinians, it concluded.
