The Turkish army said yesterday that four of its F-16 fighter jets came under attack from Syrian missiles along their joint borders and the army took the “necessary response”, Alamatonline.com reported.
In a statement, the army talked about its counter action but it did not specify what steps it took to protect its forces.
On Saturday, Syrian fighters and missiles systems attacked Turkish F-16 fighter jets near the Turkish-Syrian borders.
