Arab League chief: Israel is last apartheid regime in the world

“Israel is the last bastion of racial discrimination in the world and practices state terrorism against the Palestinian people,” Turkey’s Anadolu Agency reported a senior Arab League official saying yesterday.

Secretary-General of the Arab League Nabil Elaraby said there are efforts to retrieve archives of four Arab states which were looted by colonial powers.

“The historic archives of Palestine, Algeria, Libya and Iraq which were looted by former colonial powers continue to haunt these countries,” he added.

Elaraby called for all necessary measures to regain the looted archives, in particular in light of the Israeli falsification and distortion of facts and the burning of historic Palestinian documents.
