As many as 25 people were killed and dozens more injured on Wednesday evening in the Russian bombing against Syrian opposition groups who control parts of the areas in the Aleppo province.

A civil defence official told the Anadolu Agency that the Russian bombardment targeted civilian areas in the towns of Kafr Naseh and Ehres as well as vehicles carrying humanitarian aid, burning scores of them.

The official explained that some of the wounded were in a critical condition and had to be taken to hospital between the cities of Tel Izaz and Tel Refat while others were transferred to Turkish hospitals.

A member of the local coordinating committee in the north of Aleppo, Mustafa Abu Al-Rashid, told the news agency: “Russian raids targeted confrontation areas between the Syrian opposition and Daesh, but the opposition groups managed to retake control of the village of Jarz.”

Meanwhile, medical sources in the Turkish state of Kilis, near the border with Syria, said seven people were admitted to government hospitals in the state as a result of the Russian bombing. The sources described the wounds as serious.
