Israeli authorities on Thursday released the oldest Palestinian female prisoner after she spent six months in jails, Alkhaleejonline.com reported.
Ibtisam Hamarsheh, 59, from the Yabad neighbourhood in the West Bank city of Jenin, was released at the Israeli military checkpoint of Jabarah, to the south of Tulkarm.
She is the mother of prisoner Ali Hamarsheh, who is serving a 25 month prison term inside an Israeli jail.
Ibtisam was arrested while visiting her son in the Jalbou prison
