Israel’s Prime Minister slams European Commission’s position on Israel

The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu slammed on Monday the European Commission’s position regarding Israel and accused it of employing a policy of “double standards” towards the country.

During a meeting with visiting Estonian Foreign Minister Marina Kaljurand, Netanyahu said that relations between Israel and most European countries are good and positive.

Netanyahu called on European Union countries to exert pressure on the European Commission to change its position.
