Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood Guide: January 25 Revolution will triumph

The General Guide of Egypt’s Muslim Brotherhood Mohammed Badie has said that the January 25 Revolution will triumph, in remarks made during a court session.

“The January 25 Revolution, which many believe its demands were disrupted…will eventually triumph,” he said.

Badie made his remarks during a court session at the Beni Suef Criminal Court on Wednesday, where he and 92 other members and leaders of the Muslim Brotherhood are being tried on charges of vandalism and burning government buildings.

A judicial source, who preferred not to be named, told Anadolu news agency that the court has been adjourned until April.

Badie slammed the Egyptian regime during the court session, stating that the January 25 Revolution will “eventually triumph thanks to the sacrifices of our youth”.

“The ruling power will be gone soon and will never return,” he added.
