In a statement, Hussein said that the calls to invade Al-Aqsa Mosque at this time “refute the claims of the occupation authorities that it is maintaining the status quo in the holy places across the occupied city”.
He also criticised the Israeli army protection of the incursions of extremist Jews into Al-Aqsa while they place many restrictions on the entrance of Muslim worshipers.
Hussein said that the violations against holy sites, especially Al-Aqsa, turns the region into “a ticking-bomb and ushers in a religious war”.
He called on Palestinians and Muslims to visit and remain inside Al-Aqsa Mosque during the Jewish holidays.
