Palestinian Intimaa campaign allows users to create images in support for Nakba day – Do you like MEMO’s creation?

Intimaa (Belonging) launched the campaign which hopes to reach its peak on Nakba Day, to mark the annual commemoration of the expulsion of hundreds of thousands of Palestinians from their homes.

Palestinians can add their names to the cities or villages they were forced out from and write a comment on the picture. Others can use the images to show their support for the Palestinian cause.

Mohamed Abu-Laila told Al-Araby Al-Jadeed that it is hoped that the campaign will highlight the global support for the Palestinians and their plight.

He said that activists from different corners of the world have already changed their profile pictures.
