The 14th annual forum of Palestinians in Europe has called on the EU and the international community to take firm actions to stop Israeli expansionist policies in the Palestinian territories.

The conference, which took place in the Swedish city of Malmo, warned in its final statement of Israel’s serious violations against the city of Jerusalem and its Palestinian residents, especially the targeting of Al-Aqsa Mosque and the city’s Muslim and Christian holy sites.

The statement also condemned Israel’s blockade of the Gaza Strip and demanded its immediate lifting.

The conference was attended by a number of Palestinian and Arab businessmen in Europe, as well as European lawmakers and activists.
