The Iraqi army found a chemical plant belonging to Daesh to the west of the town of Heet in central Iraq.

Iraqi authorities made it clear that the plant had refining equipment, large amounts of chlorine and toxic chemicals. The group left the items behind them after they fled the city.

A member of the Council of Taza, Nazim Zanganeh, said on Sunday that the Daesh-linked militants bombed a town in Kirkuk in northern Iraq, using rocket-propelled grenades carrying toxic gases, leaving around 50 people infected by suffocation and shortness of breath.

In March, a three-year-old girl died after Daesh used chemical weapon in Taza. The bombing also led to hundreds of civilians suffering from suffocation and skin rash, local medical sources reported.
