Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi said his country is fully prepared to cooperate with Arab states to push forward the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road and to open up broader Arab-Chinese strategic cooperation.
Speaking on behalf of Chinese President Xi Jinping at the opening of the seventh Arab-Chinese Cooperation Forum in Doha, Qatar, the minister said the 2014 proposal to construct the belt has had a positive response from Arab countries.
