Israel arrests senior Hamas leaders in West Bank

Israeli occupation forces arrested tens of Palestinian citizens, including a number of senior Hamas leaders in occupied West Bank on Monday and Tuesday nights, Palestinian sources reported.

On Monday night, the Israeli occupation arrested 12 Palestinians from different cities in the occupied West Bank and the east Jerusalem.

PLs48.net reported a large number of Israeli occupation forces stormed the house of the Palestinian MP and Hamas leader in Ramallah Abdul-Jaber Faqhaa, beat him violently at home and arrested him without giving any reason.

Faqaa had been arrested by the Israeli occupation several times in the past without any respect for his parliamentarian position.

On Tuesday night, Safa News Agency reported that the Israeli occupation forces carried out a wide arrest campaign across the occupied West Bank.

It also said that a large number of the Israeli occupation forces stormed the house of the former Palestinian Prisoners Minister and Hamas leader Wasfi Qabha in the West Bank city of Jenin.

Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation forces stormed the house of the senior Hamas leader in the city of Tulkarm, in the north of the occupied West Bank and arrested him.
