Hamas: Iran supported Palestinian resistance more than others

Iran has supported the Palestinian resistance  more than other country, PalSawa.com reported a senior Hamas official saying yesterday.

Speaking to Al-Aqsa TV, Mousa Abu Marzouk expressed his movement’s gratitude, appreciation and respect for Iran following its support for the Palestinian cause.

He noted that the clear Iranian position towards the Palestinian cause keeps up with the positions of the Arab and Islamic nations, as well as the positions of all free people around the world.

The senior Hamas official stressed that Hamas’ policy would remain the same regarding avoiding interference in the internal affairs of other countries and stressed the movement’s gratitude and respect for the countries which stand beside it and beside the Palestinian issue.

Regarding the reconciliation with Fatah, Abu Marzouk said that a delegation of five Fatah leaders headed by Azzam Al-Ahmad had arrived in Doha to complete previous discussions. “We hope that this will be the final meeting as we have already agreed on all issues,” he said.
