Essebsi receives letter from Moroccan king

Moroccan Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Salaheddine Mezouar said that he conveyed a message from King Mohammed VI to Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi in which he stressed the strength of relations between the two countries and their common aspiration to develop their bilateral relations.

A statement released by the Tunisian Presidency quoted Mezouar as saying that he discussed with Essebsi the Arab and African situation and the importance of working together to solve existing problems.

The Tunisian president is due to visit Morocco in the coming months in a move which is thought to mark a new stage in relations between the two countries.
