Palestinian human rights sources have confirmed that three hunger striking prisoners have been placed in solitary confinement.

The Mohja Jerusalem Foundation of Martyrs and Prisoners said in a statement that three Palestinian prisoners detained in the Israeli prison Ofer declared an open-ended hunger strike on Saturday to protest against their administrative detention.

The foundation said that the three prisoners are Ayad Jamal, Ayad Al-Herama and Muhannad Mohammed Mathanah Jabr who were detained on 23 December last year.
