Turkish Justice Minister Bekir Bozdag yesterday warned that Turkey has received intelligence that Muslim cleric Fethullah Gulen could flee the US.
Bozdag told Haberturk TV that Gulen could flee to Australia, Mexico, Canada, South Africa or Egypt.
Turkey says Gulen, who has lived in self-imposed exile in the United States for years, is the mastermind behind the failed coup attempt which took place on 15 July.
Gulen denies the accusations.
