Female Israeli soldiers assaulted Hadeel Al-Faqih, the wife of Mohamed Al-Faqih who was killed by the occupation forces last week in Hebron, and attempted to abort her baby, the Anadolu Agency reported yesterday.

Israeli occupation forces stormed Al-Faqih’s father-in-law’s house in the occupied northern West Bank city of Qalqilya and beat Hadeel and her father.

Fares Barakat, Hadeel’s brother, said that his father suffered a brain haemorrhage and was unconscious. He was moved to an Israeli hospital for treatment. He is in a serious condition.

Meanwhile, a number of female Israeli soldiers beat Hadeel, pushed her in the belly and threatening to abort her baby.

Safa news agency reported her saying that the female soldiers beat her on her back and pushed her onto a wall.

“They suddenly stormed the room and did not give us time to wear our clothes,” she told Safa, “they put me in a single room and investigated me. They beat me and said they wanted to abort my baby.”

She continued: “When I left the room, I found my father lying unconscious on the ground and I screamed very loudly before he was moved to the hospital.” They then destroyed the furniture in the house.
