Ahmed Dawabsheh hospitalised after his health deteriorates

The sole surviving member of the Duma village arson attack, Ahmed Dawabsheh, was hospitalised last night after his health deteriorated.

Nassr Dawabsheh, the family's representative and Ahmed's uncle, said the five-year-old took a turn for the worst; his temperature increased and he began to vomit and feel weak.

Ahmed is undergoing tests and is expected to stay in hospital for at least a few days.

The only survivor of an arson attack that killed his parents and his baby brother, Ahmed sustained 60 per cent burns following the attack. Israeli settler Amiram Ben-Uliel has been charged with three counts of murder.
