The Palestinian Boxing Federation held the Muhammad Ali Clay Boxing tournament in Gaza on Friday.
The tournament, a tribute to Muslim boxing champion Muhammad Ali, began with 24 boxers who qualified out of 50 youngsters from the Gaza Strip.
Boxers and the Palestinian Boxing Federation have expressed their desire to participate in international tournaments. They hoped that the Gaza boxers would meet with boxers from the West Bank and together participate in Arab and international tournaments.
The federation noted that this tournament is a message to the world to see how the siege on the Strip is impacting sports.
