Israeli soldier’s family: Government has forgotten our children in Gaza

August 19, 2016 at 2:56 pm

The Israeli government has forgotten about the two soldiers who went missing during “Operation Protective Edge” on the Gaza Strip in 2014, the family of one of the men said.

In an interview publishes yesterday, Hadar Goldin’s family said the government must be aware that there are a number of ways to exert pressure on Hamas and return the soldiers.

“Hamas prisoners should not get a package of services, including food, watching comedy programmes and obtaining an academic education, at a time when we do not have any information about the soldiers and their situation,” they said.

The family called on the Israeli government to conduct a cabinet session to discuss the issue.

Israeli soldier Oron Shaul was also captured during Israel’s offensive against Gaza.
