Some 219 Israeli extremists including 204 Jewish settlers and 15 Israeli soldiers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque last week, Quds Press reported on Friday.

According to the agency, which monitors the raids, some of the 15 Israeli soldiers stormed the Mosque wearing their military uniform while others were in plainclothes.

It also said that the settlers were protected by the Israeli occupation forces and police when they stormed the Mosque.

Since 1967, the Israeli occupation authorities have been closing Al-Magharabeh Gate on Fridays and Saturdays. According to Quds Press the Israelis usually use this gate to storm the Mosque.

The news agency also said that extremist Jewish settlers storm Al-Aqsa Mosque twice a day, once in the morning and the other in the afternoon. After entering from Al-Magharbeh Gate they wander around the holy sanctuary, harass Muslim worshippers and leave from the Chain Gate.
