August 30, 2016 at 10:35 am

Israeli occupation forces raided Oreef School, a Palestinian school in the West Bank city of Nablus, today, arresting five students, Quds Press reported.

Teacher Sameeh Al-Saifi said occupation forces raided the school cornering teachers and most of the students in one area, as they chased a group of students inside the school.

Al-Saifi said Israeli soldiers were positioned on the rooftops of nearby Palestinian houses, using them as watch towers.

The students were chased through the streets of Nablus after they left the school grounds. Soldiers used tear gas and sound grenades to stop them.

Five students were arrested following the raid, three were later released.
