3 Qatari soldiers killed in Yemen

Three Qatari soldiers were killed in Yemen yesterday at the hands of forces loyal to the Houthis and ousted Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh.

The Qatar News Agency reported the deaths but gave no information about how they died.

According to the latest statistics, Qatar currently has 1,000 ground troops in Yemen who are fighting as part of the Saudi-led coalition. The coalition began strikes to reclaim control of the country from the Houthis and forces loyal to Saleh on 26 March 2015.
