October 5, 2016 at 9:46 pm

Algeria invited the head of the Libyan National Agreement government Fayid Al-Sarraj to visit after France hosted a meeting to discuss Libya, the Anadolu Agency reported.

The Algerian daily Al-Fajr said yesterday that the high-ranking official’ reception for Al-Sarraj “reflects the importance of the visit to Algeria, which proposes political initiatives to solve the aggravating crisis.”

Al-Sarraj was received by three senior ministers.

Turkish, Egyptian, UAE and Qatari officials attended the meeting in France on Monday along with a number of representatives of the Libya conflict.
