Eight Palestinian youth detained near Bethlehem

Undercover Israeli forces detained eight Palestinian children from Aida refugee camp in Bethlehem, occupied West Bank,  Monday afternoon, Maan News reports.
According to Maan, a unit of undercover Israeli agents dressed as Palestinians seized the young Palestinians, who were all under 15 years old after clashes t between local youth and Israeli forces.

The captured were identified as Amir Ismael Elayan, Izz al-Din Badwan, Mohammad Wahid Qaraqe, Adam Mohammad Darwish, Mohammad Nasser Darwish, Abd al-fatah Abu Shera, Daoud Raed Sharara, and Yousif Mohammad Jawarish.
During the protest Israeli forces shot rubber-coated steel bullets and tear gas at the demonstrators and civilian houses nearby.

An Israeli army spokesperson told Maan that the raid was carried out by the Israeli police. However,  Israeli police spokesperson Micky Rosenfeld told Maan that he was not aware of the raid.
