Italian football giant Juventus have signed a ten-year-old wonder kid dubbed the “Palestinian Messi”.

Rashed Al-Hajjawi, who was born in Norway in 2006, was discovered after videos of him playing football went viral. The Serie A champions apparently moved quickly to bring the player to their youth academy following interests from several other clubs.

Al-Hajjawi will join the Juve Under-10 team before working his way up the ranks. Although he starts training on Monday, it will be a while before joins first-team.

Fans have called him “the amazing young wonderkid” and applauded his achievements.
