Israeli forces injured eight Palestinian youths during clashes on Wednesday afternoon at Al-Quds University in Abu Dis village, east of Jerusalem.

Quds Press quoted an eyewitness saying that the clashes with the youths took place outside of the University, and then expanded to chase students inside the campus.

He added that eight people were injured of inhaling toxic tear gas, after the occupation forces have fired rubber-coated bullets and tear gas bombs at the young men.

Palestinian Red Crescent Society’s paramedic said to Quds Press that 8 Palestinian youths were injured of suffocation due to the inhalation of toxic gas during clashes which broke out in Abu Dis village.

The occupation forces have targeted the university students on Monday where 27 students were injured of suffocation due to an intensive tear gas firing outside and inside the university campus.

Israeli forces have been targeting Quds University students continuously over the past years. The university was also exposed to an Israeli incitement campaign after displaying a number of martyrs’ pictures during student events.
