Bahrain has ranked as the best Arab country that offers good prospects for young people, while Germany came in the first place internationally although it has the lowest  youth population in the world, according to a global youth development index compiled by the UK Commonwealth Secretariat.

According to the survey that included 183 countries, Bahrain came in the first place among Arab countries and 41st internationally. Saudi Arabia ranked second in the Arab world and 54th globally, while Kuwait ranked 56th, Qatar ranked 75th, Oman ranked 99th, and UAE ranked 107th.
