82 settlers storm Al-Aqsa

Dozens of Jewish settlers today stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque under heavy protection from Israeli security forces, Quds Press reported.

According to the news agency, 82 Jewish settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque via the Israeli-controlled Al-Maghrebi Gate under Israeli police protection.

The news agency said Israeli police confiscated the identity cards of some of the Palestinian worshipers as they entered to perform the morning prayer and prevented others from entering during the incursions.

As many as 3,000 Israeli settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque over a three-week period in October during Jewish holidays, according to Haaretz.
