Meshaal to Trump: No stability without Palestinians rights

The head of Hamas’ political bureau Khaled Meshaal has called on US President-elect Donald Trump to correct his country’s foreign policy which favours the Israeli occupation.

“There won’t be stability in the area without the Palestinians getting their rights. You should learn that Israel has become a burden to you,” Meshaal said during the 11th Jerusalem Youth Conference in Istanbul, Turkey.

“The Palestinians are fed up of the US bias policy in favour of the Israeli occupation.”

He stressed that Jerusalem is the key to peace and war in the region, calling to increase efforts to save the city and Al-Aqsa Mosque from the Israeli Judaisation schemes.

The Jerusalem Intifada is giving hope to the nation, he said, calling on Arab leaders to bear their responsibilities towards Jerusalem.
