The father of a 4-month-old boy killed in a PKK bomb blast condemned the perpetrators as “not human beings” on Friday.

“We lost our baby,” Hasan Eringin said. “I do not know what to say. There is no description for this pain.” His son Muhammed Can died from his injuries in hospital four weeks after being hit in a car bomb attack in downtown Diyarbakir, southeast Turkey.

He is one of the youngest victims of the PKK’s 32-year campaign of violence.

Speaking to Anadolu Agency, Eringin added: “God damn those who make us sad. These are not human beings.” He said his three daughters were constantly asking for their brother.

Muhammed Can, who passed away after 27 days of treatment in Dicle University Hospital on Thursday, had been breastfeeding when a PKK bomb exploded on 4th November.

The attack also martyred two police officers and killed 10 civilians, leaving around 100 people 4.

The PKK – listed as a terrorist organization by Turkey, the U.S. and EU — resumed its decades-old armed campaign in July 2015. Since then, more than 300 civilians and nearly 800 security personnel have been martyred. Around 8,000 PKK terrorists have been killed or apprehended.
