500 killed in Sirte

Some 483 corpses have been recovered from the Libyan city of Sirte over three days, Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous Forces’ media centre reported.

The media centre said that the corpse recovery team in the Crime Fight Unit at Misurata Security Department, in cooperation with the Ministry of Martyrs and Missing Persons Affairs recovered the corpses of 217 Daesh fighters from various areas in the city of Sirte, raising the number of corpses recovered in 72 hours to 483 corpses.

The source added that the Al-Bunyan Al-Marsous Forces also managed to remove three Daesh fighters from one of the sites, arresting two, while the third blew himself up. No casualties were reported.
