Saudi, Kuwait discuss bilateral ties

Saudi King Salman Bin Abdulaziz and his accompanying delegation arrived yesterday in Kuwait on an official visit during which he will hold talks with Kuwaiti officials, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

King Salman was greeted at the airport by the Kuwaiti Emir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, the Crown Prince, Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and senior Kuwaiti senators and officials.

Al-Sabah welcomed the Saudi king at his palace in Kuwait City.

During the Saudi king’s visit, his first official visit to Kuwait, discussions will centre around bilateral relations and ways of enhancing them in all fields, in addition to a number of regional and international issues of common interest, according to the Qatar News Agency (QNA).

This is the last stop for King Salman in his tour following the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit which saw him visit the United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Bahrain.
