Egypt prevents Sudanese migrants from crossing into Israel

December 12, 2016 at 1:13 pm

Egyptian security forces on the border with Israel have prevented 15 Sudanese migrants from entering the Zionist state, a senior source said on Sunday.

According to Palestinian news agency Maan, the Egyptians detected the 14 men and one woman in the Sinai Peninsula and detained them. The migrants offered no resistance.

Initial investigations, it is reported, found that they planned to move to Israel looking for work. They also, it is claimed, paid a total of $45,000 to human traffickers who were supposed to get them to their destination.
