Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu compared the attack in Berlin to the Palestinian resistance, saying that both are “forms of terror”, Arab48.com reported yesterday.

Germany and Israel face “terror” attack, Netanyahu claimed, according to Arabs48.com, which reported Netanyahu sending his condolences to the families of the victims of the Berlin attack.

Netanyahu hoped those wounded in the attack would have a quick recovery, noting that there was an Israeli citizen among them.

“Terror explodes everywhere,” he said, adding: “Terror could be beaten if it was fought.”

The Israeli prime minister reiterated: “It is possible to beat terror quickly if the free nations came together and face terror attacks.”

A truck ploughed into a crowded Christmas market in central Berlin on Monday evening, killing 12 people and injuring 48 others.
